This stoneware bowl was thinly thrown on the wheel and once leatherhard, decorated with a dark brown, iron slip. After the bisque firing, the interior was glazed with a transparent wood ash glaze and the outside with dolomite-glaze dots in yellow and blue. The yellow dots are white and pale lemon, very hard to photograph against the dark background due to the contrast. A very useable bowl, food safe and perfect for soup or cereals, for example.
Measures approx. 2.75 inches in height and just under six inches diameter.
