A round bottomed bowl. This piece was thrown on the wheel and the decoration brushed on at the leatherhard stage. Texture was also added in the form of a thick slip. The bowl was fired on three clam shells, the marks from which make the bowl sit on a very slight tilt. Finger marks were deliberately left to show the moment when it was dipped, upside down, in the glaze.
Measures approx six inches in diameter and three inches in height.
